would like to thank thomas for being really understand our point of view.. he wan to help as he feel that it is not right.. but again, he dun have any 'power' to do anything but do we have a choice ?? no.. thats for sure.. yes.. we are not as good as philwinds players.. yes.. my tone cannot be better then zhi wei.. but that is OF COURSE ! who the hell am i ?? did anyone really teach me how to play ?? NO ! i discover all this thing myself.. maybe andy sim taught mi some method to improve my airflow.. alan lourens teach mi to improve my intonation.. Zhi Wei help mi to improve my high notes.. and that is.. i am not a good player. i accept it. i know i am not a good player. that is why i AM FINDING A TROMBONE TUTOR TO HELP MI SOLVE MY PROBLEMS. look.. FOR GOODNESS SAKE its not that we want to skip practice.. its not that i want my instrument to spoil and skip practice.. its not as if i want to be sick jus on that sunday.. and NOBODY TOLD ME THAT IT IS A COMBINED BRASS SECTIONAL.. everyone thought is a sectional. a sectioanl means ONE section prac together. which means as for me.. TROMBONE will practice together. Look, i sms my bandmates. 5 ppl 4 sae nv come. i go.. tt means 2.. go for duet ? pointless right ? might as well at home practice on my own right ? Not performing in esplanade is one thing.. but the way u guys tell us we are not performing really s***ks big time.. u noe wad tt means ?? it really put us down hard.. we practice hard for past 5 months.. and this is wad we get in return.. i dun think onli trombone section have bad attendance. There must be some (i not going to name them) whose attedance is much worst then us. They gave reasons which is quite weird. and they could perform. oh come on.. please be CONSISTENT in EVERYTHING U DO ! yes.. i agree with u.. this is jus a performance. damn it.. not performing is one thing. why choose a timing in which is ONE WEEK before a concert tell us ? or 3 hrs after i jus attend a practice ?? please.. jus to sae.. all this is not only me.. theres more people that is unhappy.. please get to know us better.. But again, this is my opinion. I may be wrong. i dunno. |
